Since my involvement with Good Team & Entreamigos, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of this program. Children and families in San Pancho are not just learning new skills, they're flourishing and building a brighter future for their community. This program is a shining testament to the power of education and collaboration. The positive ripple effect is undeniable, and with continued support, will continue to illuminate the path forward for generations to come.

When we first started this program I was a bit nervous. I had never taught English before and was never a great public speaker so it was a little intimidating. When I first logged in I had the support of my team members and Billy and was encouraged to just be myself and enjoy the conversations with the kids we were interacting with. Immediately I felt so much better and loved talking and learning with the kids. They were so incredibly open, and smart, and it felt great to make them laugh or smile and know that I was really connecting with them. One of my favorite parts is getting to draw with them in their practice session and get to know them more by their creative side. It's such an incredible program and I feel very fortunate my organization partnered with Good Team and gave me the opportunity to give back.

The platform has worked incredibly, especially knowing that we are communicating across two countries. I love to interact with the students - they are very smart and also do well sitting and participating which isn't always easy at that age! I hope they are both enjoying it and learning as much as we are :)

The Good Team Program is an admirable initiative that seeks to offer low-income children the opportunity to learn English in an effective and enjoyable way. I am proud to be a part of this project and to see how children become passionate about the language through activities and games that make learning a pleasant experience. Mastering English opens up a world of possibilities for children, providing them with better job opportunities, access to higher education, and the possibility to travel and learn about other cultures. Therefore, the Good Team Program is more than just a language class, it is a bridge to a more prosperous future for these young people.

(Via an unsolicited voicemail) And I also wanted to say that the mother of (name) sent me a message. I am not sure if we told you but he had been having a lot of problems with English. It was causing him a lot of frustration and he would even cry, all because of (problems with) English. But since he started receiving the classes with you all he has started feeling better (about English). And his mom told me the day before yesterday he started speaking English on his own like it was nothing!

The Good Team volunteer opportunity was a game-changer for me when deciding to join Blueprint. Being able to give back to the community and make a real difference in people's lives is a big deal for me. It wasn't just about teaching English – it was about boosting confidence and promoting education. The materials they gave us were top-notch, making the learning experience awesome for both volunteers and participants. I'm thankful for being part of this program and excited to keep volunteering!

And while our current focus is on virtual,
we got our start with
in-person activities
and would be happy to help there too.
